Before I started Physical Therapy I could not sleep on my right side, couldn’t dress or clean myself, participate in any activities at all. I was in so much pain. Now I feel that coming to NewCare Physical Therapy was the best thing that I could have done. I now take care of myself and I’m ready to go back to work!
Before I started Physical Therapy I was always scared to reach or do any sudden arm movements, due to my right arm popping out of socket. When I started both doctors were very helpful and explained many things that I didn’t understand about my injury. Once I went into surgery to repair my labrum tear, I came back to many exercises to slowly get my arm strong again. Both doctors were very patient and helpful in making sure I don’t over work my right shoulder. Every day I would do the arm cycle, pulley, weights, arm reaches and body blade. These exercises have allowed me to get closer to have full range of motion of my shoulder and arm. This has been a very challenging experience in my life and I am happy I came to NewCare PT. Thanks guys so much!
My experience at NewCare with Dr. Michael Shin has been a great experience from day one. Dr. Shin showed me great care and concern about my recovery by devising a course of treatment, explaining the purpose of the treatment and what I should expect from the treatment. He also gave careful instructions for performing special exercises at home that corresponded with the course of treatment given at NewCare. He was careful to measure my progress and encouraged me to follow the course of treatment and made adjustments as needed. The treatment afforded me a rapid recovery and allowed me to return to my normal course of life. I also observed Dr. Shin’s interaction with other individuals for similar treatment. Dr. Shin showed them a great deal of concern and personal attention. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Shin to others for their physical therapy needs. Thank you Dr. Shin!
Before PT, I was unable to fully extend my left forearm. After performing the prescribed exercises, I can fully extend my left forearm. The location of the facility is convenient. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Very nice background music, too. I would highly recommend Dr. Shin and his staff.
Dr. Wang and Dr. Shin are great Physical Therapists and people. I spent more time with Dr. Wang who is very easy to get along with ad he understands what patients need.
When I first began treatment, I had a hard time with certain motions with my legs. With Dr. Wang’s assistance and creativity, I have been able to continue to make strides despite a few setbacks.
Thank you, Dr. Wang and Dr. Shin for getting me back to good health. All the best with you’re your practice. I’ll be sure to check in with you guys.
My name is Alexandra and I started my physical therapy with Dr. Shin in October of 2016. When I first started my therapy my knee was very weak and in a lot of pain. Due to my knee injury, I had difficulty walking, sitting, standing, etc. Dr. Shin worked very hard on making my knee stronger and to eliminate the constant pain that kept me from doing my daily activities. During the sessions, Dr. Shin performed ultrasound on my knee, electrical stimulation, different exercises involving weights, etc. Now, my knee is doing much better. The pain is almost completely gone and I am able to do my daily activities.
It’s the good experience of Dr. Shin that helped me with my knee pain. After my surgery, he knew the best ways to help it get better and relieve my concerns and help me heal. Dr. Shin is a great person!
Thank you for your kindness and customized care. Each of you played a critical part in my healing journey!
I could barely stand on my injured ankle when I first started, but after several sessions at NewCare, I am able to stand and stretch and I am well on my way to recovery!
I first met Dr. Shin when he came to my home after my knee replacement. I found him to be knowledgeable and patient. I came back to see him for low back pain. After my first visit, I began to feel better. I would recommend him highly.
