HOW TO AVOID DEVELOPING SEVERE STIFFNESS IN THE OPERATED KNEE FOLLOWING TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT
Free Workshop Reveals the Single Biggest #1 Secret To Ensure Successful Recovery from Total Knee Replacement and avoid developing severe stiffness in the operated knee
Dear Fellow Gwinnett and Fulton County Resident,
Has your knee finally had it?
…walking has gotten so excruciating?
…stairs have become intimidating?
and you just can’t stand for any length of time anymore?
And it’s not just the pain in your knee, what’s more frustrating is…
…missing out on spending quality family time with your spouse, kids and grandkids.
…giving up on your hobby…golf, bowling, tennis, shopping, or just plain going out to dinner.
…feeling like you’re not the same person anymore. It’s discouraging.
Here comes Total Knee Replacement…
Is Total Knee Replacement for You?
Knee replacement, also called arthroplasty, is a surgical procedure to resurface a knee damaged by arthritis.
Metal and plastic parts are used to cap the ends of the bones that form the knee joint, along with the kneecap.
The great news is…90% of patients who undergo Total Knee Replacement experience dramatic pain relief…
…which allows patients to get back to enjoying the simple things of daily life again!
But what can go wrong?
Stiff Knee Syndrome (in medical lingo, Arthrofibrosis)
This condition can occur after surgery on the knee, such as a knee replacement. Over time, scar tissue builds up inside the knee, causing the knee joint to shrink and tighten.
Scar tissue from stiff knee syndrome can severely impact your knee’s range of motion. In the most severe instances, it can result in a permanent inability to bend and straighten the knee.
Some knee stiffness following a total knee replacement is normal. Severe stiffness is not.
So how do you know if you have stiff knee syndrome?
- You walk with a bent knee
- There is increased amount of pain which could be the result of stiff knee syndrome, especially when it occurs along with reduced flexibility.
- There is swelling in the soft tissue around your knee. This is different than swelling due to fluid buildup.
